Skipping a scene for the first time in this NaNo because I really really do not feel like writing it.
TIME TO MAKE PLOT HAPPEN. WOO!
Hopefully this won’t screw me up. All the skipping around I did last November messed up the story a bit.
Also I am discovering I have issues writing female characters. It makes me uncomfortable to write a character saying ‘I am a girl’. Idk why. I just wrote a line where my main character says “I guess there’s more to me than a girl who wants revenge” (which was completely well sorta a lie (a least she intended it to be a lie)) and it feel weird to have a character actually say their gender out loud.
Maybe I should make one of my male characters say something similar and see if it bothers me in the same way.
